You’ve seen celebrities do it, athletes swear by it, and yes—even royalty has embraced it. So what exactly is it?
It’s called Tapping. Also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or, as I personally use and teach, Intention Tapping. It’s a simple, powerful tool that helps ease anxiety, release stress, and even uncover and heal deep-rooted emotional wounds.
Tapping is one of the core tools I offer at Wise Heart Coaching & Hypnosis because it aligns perfectly with the heart of my work: intention. Every session I lead, every technique I guide clients through, starts with and is shaped by intention. Why? Because I truly believe that where you place your intention is where you place your attention—and that’s where transformation happens.
What Is Intention Tapping?
Intention Tapping is a gentle but profound evolution of traditional EFT. While both involve tapping on meridian points (similar to acupuncture, but without needles), Intention Tapping goes a step further by focusing on powerful intention-based statements rather than just affirmations or emotional phrases.
I was trained in this method directly by Steve Wells, the creator of Intention Tapping, in Australia. His work has changed how I approach emotional healing and how I support my clients in reclaiming their inner strength and clarity.
